Blitz tool box. It has the small fixed tray in the R top of compartment and the correct handle. It has been repainted. In good condition, will need to be repainted in army drab colour. The catch is good, closes properly, which is unusual for a box of this age. refer to the Tool listing shown down in the info section to see this box listed in parts list.

Blitz foot pump. This is the same model as seen in a Blitz display at the Darwin Military museum. No maker visible. This one is affixed to a thick slab of plywood, which can be removed for shipping.

Valve Lifter for Side Valve Ford V8 engines. Good solid hex design by Meco, an Australian firm. The hex cross section helps prevent it from tilting sideways while in use. Ref:: FlatheadValveLifter-1

Weight is 950g, length is 24 inches. $75 + P&P (now available )

Valve Lifter for Side Valve Ford V8 engines. Good solid round bar design. It has no maker's mark. Good condition. Weight is 1.1kg, length is 20.5 inches. It does not have a maker's mark.

Pictured is an Auto Specialties Jack thought to be for CMP Blitz vehicles - it is quite robust and heavy 12.3Kg, rated at 4 ton - made for heavier CMP's

APAC No 177 D^D. This is a heavy twin lift screw jack, with the D^D mark cast into the base - a special order for the Military no doubt - no catalogue listing found so far in civilian catalogues.

Low height is 9-1/2inches. fully raised is 21 inches, drive socket is about 7/8".

The handle is of square bar, approx 7/8inches and 45 inches long with a circular hole at the other end for a bar of some sort - see pic of handle below.

Pictured below in grey is the same model seen in a Blitz display at the Darwin Military museum. This is a very heavy jack.

Chev Blitz  
Spanners  

Here is a set of Equip / GMH spanners in SAE marked sizes. these sizes agree with the sizes in Chev Blitz manuals except for the largest, which is documented as 7/8" x 15/16" - we have searched through many Equip spanners but the missing one has not been found.

On the Blitz forums this brand was suggested as a contender for the original spanners supplied with the Chev Blitz.

Please note that the spanner roll is not period correct for these spanners.

A/F Sizes are:

3/8" x 7/16" SAE

7/16" x 1/2" SAE

1/2" x 9/16" SAE

5/8" x 11/16" SAE

5/8" X 3/4" SAE

7/8" x 1-1/16" SAE

Litchfield E91 Valve Guide Punch. Used to drive down the valve guide to enable removal of the retaining clip. Weight ~350 grams
