“The S414 is a 15 cwt twin screw jack. Cast with S414 LAKE &
ELLIOT on the drive side. On the opposite side is PAT NO 235497 15 CWT.
It measures 5.25" closed and has a 5 7/8" screw extension. Extended
height is 11.25". The base measures 3" x 4.75" ”A seller thought

seen on some of this model. Steve Gyles mentions” “Original
packaging showed it to be an aftermarket jack suitable for cars such as

litre Daimler Sovereign, Jaguar XJ6, Sunbeam Rapier and Sceptre, Rover

Vesta Triangle Safety Jack. Advertising states " The
Vesta Triangle Safety Jack consists of two steel rods and
a chain. Turning the crank handle raises the car
effortlessly at two points of suspension - the axle and
the bumper bar. It's safe on steeply cambered roads, on a
hill, in mud, sand etc. It will pass under a 2in.
clearance while operator stands clear of car! A child of
12 could raise a wheel with a Vesta Safety Jack without
difficulty or danger in a few seconds. No uncomfortable
stooping, practically effortless operation, speedy and
safe - surely it's the perfect jack..." Vesta were battery makers with over 7000 dealers throughout Austrlia, and in 1954 they offered participants in the REDEX Car trials "day and night Vesta Service Facilities for all competitors in almost every town on the route. Vesta Service covers a full and comprehensive range of products - Batteries, Coils, Condensers, Spark Plugs, Automotive Cable and Vesta Triangle Jack..." Smiths Stevensons jacking Systems Bevelift post jack said to
be for the Riley-RMA. It stands 18” tall in lowered position. No
crank is available, but it will need to have a socket of 3/8WW or
7/16BSF. The Riley RM Series is an executive car which was produced by
Riley from 1945 to 1955. It was the last model developed independently
by Riley prior to the 1952 merger of Riley's still new owner Nuffield,

Smiths Stevensons jacking Systems post jack said to be for
the Standard Flying 14. It stands around 17 inches tall in lowered
position, and has a integrated winding handle. The Flying Standard
Fourteen was a four-door five-seat saloon. From March 1937 the same

Smiths Stevensons jacking Systems jack for Austin motorcars, not sure of which model. Also supplied is a crank handle / wheel brace marked King Dick. PCL Royal. An attractive brass cylinder
pump. Pneumatic Components Limited (PCL) Founded in 1938, when the first pressure gauges were designed and manufactured in Sheffield, PCL started somewhat later than many of the other major pump makers. The company was founded, apparently, as a result of a squabble between the Turner brothers (of the famous Kismet Company in Sheffield).
